OVERVIEW

Amid COVID-19, the ability to get personalized help and dig deep into problems has been the central struggle faced by teachers, parents and students during at-home schooling. In order to mitigate this struggle, Sal created schoolhouse.world to provide free live tutoring to people across the world. Schoolhouse.world's mission is to connect the world through learning and in order to do this we decided that we needed to create a web application to prevent data privacy, security, and storage issues. In November 2020, a group of 9 designer and I met to discuss our brand identity, values, and target users in order to design a platform that resonated with their needs, pain points, and motivations. How might we leverage volunteers and free resources to safely support the growth of students seeking aid with math, who can't access the help they need through any other means?
